Drawing on influences from Folk, Jazz and Alternative Pop. Our tastes and imaginations combine to create an eclectic sound, which is, completely our own. Based in Guildford, England we perform in and around London and Surrey.

Jake Briggs
A song writer of 20 years, Jake invents the songs of Scobie. As well writing and performing, he produces Scobie. He draws from a rich experience of writing for, and recording Bands. Jake Briggs sings, as well as playing: Guitar, Flute, Ukulele, Bazuki, Organ.
James Horsburgh
James has worked with Jake on various musical ventures over the last 4 years. A diverse musician, he brings excitement to any musical performance he puts his hand to. James Horsburgh plays Drums and Percussion as well as singing backing vocals.
John Brockhouse
John has been in the music industry for 30 years, performing Double Bass with a great diversity of acts. He moves within the spheres of Classical music, Jazz and Folk. Here, his playing is Scobie’s back bone. John Brockhouse plays Double Bass as well as singing backing vocals for Scobie.
